This is the first queen size I've ever made. Twenty-five 14" blocks. My quilt group the Wild Threads had a block swap and this is the pattern and fabric I chose. The group made 9 of the blocks and I made the rest. One of my quilting friends, Shirley, has a long arm so I had her quilt it for me. This was a belated graduation gift for my daughter Jocelyn.
Close up of quilting pattern.
The front of the quilt.
The back.
Blessings,
PS. I am going to enter this quilt into the Bloggers Quilt Festival. Check it out!

This is a great quilt. Spontaneous, all tidied up in clean straight lines.
Lovely quilt, the colors are very bold and striking and I love how you pieced the back to tie it together.
Lovely colour combination and that huge wonky block on the back is a great idea.
